My name is Kathleen McKinney and I am so excited to be your child’s fourth grade teacher! This will be my second full year teaching at Indian Lake Elementary School and I feel so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful team of educators.
I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN with a Bachelors degree in Child and Family Studies and Elementary Education in May of 2010. I hope to soon start earning my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Math specialization. I am licensed to teach K-6.
I married my amazing husband, James, in July of 2011, and we had our sweet baby girl, Emma Kate, on May 18, 2014.
