Hope you are having a great week so far! This week is going to be PACKED full of learning and fun!
We started off Monday with a BANG! We took the Constructed Response Assessment in Math which wore the kiddos out! It's difficult to sit answering Math questions for an hour in silence! They did great, though, and I am so proud of them!
This week at a glance:
Reading: We will be reading Harvesting Hope, a biography about Cesar Chavez.
Language: We will continue our study of Adjectives and Adverbs... Ask your kids about Adjective Annie... she was pretty fun to create!
Spelling: This week our Spelling words focus on suffixes. We will be learning words with -ful, -less, -ness, and -ment in them.
Social Studies: We are coming to the end of the American Revolution! We will be having a Vocab quiz on Thursday and a Chapter Test on Friday. Study those study guides and we'll be in good shape! The Paul Revere poem is also due on Thursday, so be sure to be studying that!
Science: We will be beginning a new chapter this week on Measuring Matter!
Math: We will be continuing to work on Fractions this week, adding and subtracting them! It should be fun! :)
