Singular and Plural Pronouns

We have been studying singular and plural pronouns this week! We have a chant for both that might help your child to remember the pronouns.

Singular :   I, ME, HE, SHE, HIM, HER, IT (clap clap)

Plural : WE, US, THEY, THEM

It is important for the students to not only know these pronouns, but also how to use them correctly. We talked about the different uses of I and me today and how sometimes that can be confusing. If your child is stuck on this, here is a website for a powerpoint presentation that I used today!

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR!!!

WOW! 2013! I can't believe another year has come and gone! 2012 was an amazing year.. Mr. McKinney and I got a new puppy, new jobs, and a new house! We feel very blessed!

One of my greatest blessings in life is Indian Lake and the wonderful class that I have! Thank you so much for showering me with all of the gifts and sweet words during the holidays! I hope that you and your family had a wonderful holiday season (short though it was :) ) and had a great time ringing in the new year!

 

2013 is going to be a blast! We are going to get into harder topics of study, but I know that we will do it together and have a great time!
